It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, for sure, and i’m super happy to had the chance to be part of. Thank you bsp media for having the idea of this crazy event and growing the baby over the last 13 years! It’s probably the best windsurfing format of the world.

After cancelling my holiday on Bornholm, i flew to the north west coast of Ireland, where we had 4 production days. 2 Storm days full of action, wind, waves, rain, hail and so on. Before and after we traveled the region with all the riders and got some nice statements about what was going to happen/ what happened during the Red Bull Storm Chase. My Job was the so called “Story Cam” wich included these Interviews. During the contest days I was in the launching area for getting the stormy pics of riders. No long lens, just close to the riders, getting their emotions. It was a blast!

During May 2018 we produced this media campaign for Mercedes Benz. We were shooting only during the sunrise and sunset. All day we startet latest at 6 o’clock, had a big lunch time when the sun was high and ended the day with perfect sunsets the whole week. It was definitely a fun production, especially with Timo as the director, taking control of this project and Katha from clients side, being open for good content and creative input.

3 Weeks on Maui. What a lovely time! Together with David, Klaas and all the riders we had a good time in windsurfing heaven. My part was the watercamera, swimming the whole day at spots like hookipa, lanes, kanaha and so on.
John Carter, the campaign photographer, once said to me: “actually, this place is really sharky.”

But luckily we just scored good footage of the windsurf and SUP range of Fanatic and Duotone (Boards & More). Looking forward to the next years shoot on maui!
